Patrik Horňák wurde in Trenčín in der Slowakei geboren. Er studierte an der Hochschule Hanns Eisler Berlin (Prof.Scot Weir) und an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart (Prof. Teru Yoshihara). Im 2021 schloss er dort seinen Master Gesang an der Opernschule ab. Vor den Gesangsstudium in Deutschland schloss er einen Master im Fach Klarinette an der Hochschule für musische Künste in Bratislava ab.
Am Slowakischen National Theater in Bratislava sang er Sandrino in Giovanni Paisiellos Il Re Teodore in Venezia, sowie Belmonte in Mozarts Die Entführung aus dem Serail. An der Deutsche Oper Berlin debütierte er in Neue Szene III. Er debütierte 2019 als Ferrando am Wilhelma Theater Stuttgart in Cosi fan tutte sowie als Toni Reischmann in Henzes Elegie für junge Liebende. Am Cuvilliés Theatre München war er 2019 und 2021 als Ferrando in Mozarts Cosi fan tutte zu hören. Bei den Osterfestspiele Baden-Baden war er 2019 in der Uraufführung der Oper Clara von Victoria Bond in Partie von Johannes Brahms zu hören. Am Theater Pforzheim sang er 2020 und 2021 Brighella und Tanzmeister in Ariadne auf Naxos (R.Strauss), Jaquino in Beethovens Fidelio sowie Don Ottavio in Mozarts Don Giovanni. Im 2021 war er als Gabriel von Eisenstein im Fledermaus (J.Strauss) mit Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz zu hören.
Als Konzertsolist sang Patrik Horňák die Rolle von Evangelist in Bachs Weihnachtsoratorium in Südkoreanische Tongyeong unter der Leitung von Rolf Beck. In der Berliner Philharmonie wirkte er als Solist in Zenders Winterreise sowie in Händels Messias und war bereits u.a. in Bachs Passionen, Bachs Osteroratorium, Mozarts Requiem, Rossinis Petite messe solennelle zu hören.
Er trat mit dem Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, Kammeroper München, der Karajan Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker, Collegium vocale Gent, Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival Chor, Chorakademie Rolf Beck, Badische Philharmonie, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Bamberger Symphoniker, Tongyeong Symphony Orchestra, Prague Philharmonia, Echo Ensemble, Staatliche Osipov Orchestra auf.
Weitere Impulse erhielt er bei Meisterkursen mit Margreet Honig, Lothar Odinius, Rainer Trost und Bo Skovhus.

Patrik Horňák was born in Trenčín in Slovakia. He studied at the Hanns Eisler University in Berlin (Prof. Scot Weir) and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart (Prof. Teru Yoshihara). In 2021 he completed his master’s degree in singing at the opera school there. With studying singing, he completed a master's degree in clarinet at the University of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
At the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava he sang Sandrino in Giovanni Paisiello's Il Re Teodore in Venezia and Belmonte in Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Seraglio. He made his debut in New Scenes III at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. He made his debut in 2019 as Ferrando at the Wilhelma Theater Stuttgart in Cosi fan tutte and as Toni Reischmann in Henze's Elegy for Young Lovers. In 2019 and 2021 he sang Ferrando in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte at the Cuvilliés Theater in Munich. At the Baden-Baden Easter Festival in 2019 he was heard in the world premiere of Victoria Bond’s opera Clara in the role of Johannes Brahms. In 2020 and 2021 he sang Brighella and Tanzmeister in Ariadne auf Naxos (R.Strauss), Jaquino in Beethoven's Fidelio and Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni at the Theater Pforzheim. As a concert soloist, Patrik Horňák sang the role of Evangelist in Bach's Christmas Oratorio in South Korean Tongyeong conducted by Rolf Beck. In the Berlin Philharmonic he worked as a soloist in Zender's Winterreise and in Handel's Messiah and has already sung in Bach's Passions, Bach's Easter Oratorio, Mozart's Requiem and Rossini's Petite messe solennelle.
He has performed with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Munich Chamber Opera, Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic, Collegium vocale Gent, Schleswig Holstein Music Festival Choir, Rolf Beck Choir Academy, Badische Philharmonie, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Bamberger Symphoniker, Tongyeong Symphony Orchestra, Echo Ensemble, Prague Philharmonia, State Osipov Orchestra etc.
He received further impulses from master classes with Margreet Honig, Lothar Odinius, Rainer Trost and Bo Skovhus.
Patrik Horňák is a scholarship holder of the New Culture – program KLASSIK 2021.

Slovenský tenorista Patrik Horňák sa narodil v Trenčíne. Študoval na Univerzite Hannsa Eislera v Berlíne (prof. Scot Weir) a na Univerzite hudby a múzických umení v Stuttgarte (prof. Teru Yoshihara). V roku 2021 ukončil magisterské štúdium spevu na tamojšej opernej škole. Okrem štúdia v speve absolvoval magisterské štúdium klarinetu na Vysokej škole múzických umení v Bratislave. Je absolventom Konzervatória v Bratislave v odboroch klarinet a spev.
V Slovenskom národnom divadle v Bratislave sa predstavil ako Sandrino v Paisiellovom Kráľovi Teodorovi v Benátkach a ako Belmonte v Mozartovom Únose zo Serailu v réžií Jána Ďurovčíka. V berlínskej Deutsche Oper sa predstavil v projekte Neue Szenen III. V roku 2019 debutoval ako Ferrando vo Wilhelma Theater v Stuttgarte v Cosi fan tutte a ako Toni Reischmann v Henzeho Elégii pre mladých milovníkov. V rokoch 2019 a 2021 sa predstavil opäť ako Ferrando v Mozartovom Cosi fan tutte v Cuvilliés Theater v Mníchove. Na Veľkonočnom festivale v Baden-Badene v roku 2019 sa predstavil vo svetovej premiére opery Clara americkej skladateľky Victorie Bond v úlohe Johannesa Brahmsa. V rokoch 2020 a 2021 spieval Brighellu a Tanzmeistra v Ariadne na Naxe (R. Strauss), Jaquina v Beethovenovom Fideliovi a Dona Ottavia v Mozartovom Donovi Giovannim v divadle v nemeckom Pforzheime. V roku 2021 sa predstavil ako Gabriel von Eisenstein v Straussovom Netopierovi so Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz.
Popri opernom repertoári je Patrik Horňák aj vyhľadávaným koncertným umelcom. Ako evanjelista sa predstavil v Bachovom Vianočnom oratóriu v juhokórejskom Tongyeong pod vedením Rolfa Becka. V Berlínskej filharmónii vystúpil ako sólista v Zenderovej Zimnej ceste a v Händlovom Mesiášovi. Ako sólista sa okrem iného predstavil aj v Bachových pašiách, Bachovom Veľkonočnom oratóriu, Mozartovom Requiem či Rossiniho Petite messe solennelle.
Spolupracoval so Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, Mníchovskou komornou operou, Karajanovou akadémiou Berlínskej filharmónie, Collegium vocale Gent, Schleswig Holstein Music Festival Choir, Rolf Beck Choir Academy, Badische Philharmonie, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Bamberger Symphoniker, Tongyeong Symphony Orchestra, Echo Ensemble, Komornou Filharmóniou Pardubice, Pražskou komornou Filharmóniou, Ruským štátnym Osipov orchestrom.
Ďalšie umelecké impulzy získal na majstrovských kurzoch u Margreet Honig, Lothar Odiniusa, Rainera Trosta a Bo Skovhusa.
Patrik Horňák je štipendistom v nemeckom programe Nová Kultúra – štipendijný program KLASSIK 2021.
